Somerset West is central situated to Explore the Western Cape. It’s located between Cape Town, Franschhoek and Hermanus. This makes Yebo Boutique Guesthouse the ideal Base to Discover the Western Cape.

The Rooms

We like to pamper our guests to feel @ home. While you wake up after a good night sleep in one of our spacious and stylish rooms we prepare a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and fruits which can be served on your own terrace. Have a tea, coffee or drink on our beautiful main terrace while you enjoy our lovely garden and views with a taste of the ocean on the horizon and surrounded by mountains.

Enjoy the Pool with a nice Cool Drink after an activity, order a snack platter and a wine for sunset and sit around the Campfire in the evening.

Outdoor lifestyle

Many of our Guests return year after year to enjoy their most favourite activity in a perfect climate. From September to November we enter spring with nature coming alive and showing its beautiful colours. This weather extends into February which is our summer period. During this period we can enjoy wind that blows moderately on most days, this gives the land a pleasant cooling. And then we have March to May, which is also considered as a perfect time. Cooler mornings and nights and often 20+ degrees during the day.

Nature and Wildlife

Enjoy the beauty of Nature and Wildlife that the Western Cape has to offer. There is so much to do that you can easily stay for one or two weeks at our Guesthouse to explore all nature and wildlife highlights in our area. As soon as you book with us we can assist you in setting up a timeline for activities. Share with us your interest and budget, we will come up with a proposal. The variety of restaurants, wine tours and wine tasting venues are superb. Many of them just around the corner. As our Guest we will share our Personal recommendations. We are more than Happy to organize reservations for you.

Strand Golf Club

The new Strand Golf Course opened in 1994 on Beach Road, Strand. The original golf course was first situated on Gordon’s Bay Road but was relocated to its current location when the original area was developed into an up-market residential area.

The area is now known as Greenways and also sports its own 9-hole golf course. The Strand golf club has a cozy bar and lounge with pool and dart facilities. This 18-hole golf course is a favourite with all.

The prominent features of the course are the abundant water hazards and bunkers, undulating greens and tree-lined fairways. Many of the holes on the back 9 play in semi-links style.

The Club was also awarded by the Complete Golfer as “The Most Improved Course in the Cape for 2007”. An award of which the members are enormously proud.
